Gene Roberts has held a number of leadership positions in the mediation/conflict-resolution field, including past president of the Texas Association of Mediators, past chair of the Dallas Bar Association’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Section, past Chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section of the State Bar of Texas, and a member and past chair of the board of directors of the Dispute Resolution Center of Montgomery County. He is the 2023 Susanne Adams Award recipient.
